Norma Lopez attended summer-school classes Thursday morning in Moreno Valley, Ca at Valley View High School and then was expected to meet her younger sister and a friend at the girls’ home in the 27000 block of Cottonwood Avenue. She never showed up, according to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Police said Lopez would walk home from school south on Nason Street to Dracaea Avenue and then take a shortcut through a field south to Cottonwood.
Police believe she was taken against her will, and they’re looking for a green SUV seen speeding from the area.
Anyone with information about Lopez’s disappearance is asked to call Moreno Valley police Sgt. Jaime Briones at 951-247-8700 or sheriff’s dispatch at 951-776-1099.
